Which Ukulele for Me?
I started to title this post, “Which Ukulele for You. But I quickly realized that choosing the best ukulele for any individual is a decision based on several factors including;
1. budget
2. size and/or age of the player
3. sound quality
4. aesthetics
If I were buying a ukulele for a young child I would buy a Soprano Ukulele. For an older and/or arthritic person I would buy a Tenor Ukulele. The spaces for each fret of a Tenor Ukulele are larger and are easier to manage for arthritic hands.

And yet, I must admit that I am an older and arthritic person, and my current favorite ukulele [in my limited personal collection] is a Cordoba 15CM [Concert] – I love its mellow sound.
“Córdoba’s best-selling ukulele, the 15CM, was specially designed to offer players a stylish, easy-to-play, and high-quality instrument at an affordable price. Built with Mahogany top, back, and sides construction, the 15CM provides a rich, clear, and balanced tone. Aesthetic features such as an Abalone rosette and cream binding on both the body and fingerboard set this concert-sized ukulele apart from other models in its class. Additional features include a sleek satin finish, silver tuners with pearl buttons, and premium Aquila strings.” Cordoba
