Last week, we drew an egg. Bowtie Bunny is just an egg with ears, arms, feet, and, a tail.
If you haven’t drawn the egg, click on this link and do so. We’ll start this drawing at the end of that tutorial:

Once you have reached the spot where you have an egg with a vertical guideline, stop. That is where we will begin drawing our bunny. This time, don’t erase the vertical guideline yet. The vertical line goes up and down.
Step 1: Also, draw a horizontal guideline a little bit higher than midway up your egg.
Step 2: Draw 2 circles for the eyes. Place them immediately on top of the horizontal guideline. Set them about midway along the horizontal line. Don’t color them yet.
Step 3: Draw 2 small circles. Place one of the small circles in the upper left of each eye. Don’t color these circles in. They are the highlights of your bunny’s eyes. The highlights show where the sunlight or some other light is reflected in your bunny’s eyes.
Step 4: Color the area in the eye that surrounds the highlight. Don’t color the highlights.
Step 5: Draw the eyebrows.
Step 6: Draw a circle for the nose. Place this circle on the vertical line, and allow it to rise just a bit above the cross.
Step 7: Draw 2 circles to be the bunny’s muzzle. The circles touch the vertical line between them, and they disappear below the nose just a bit.
Step 8: Draw 2 rectangles beneath the muzzle. These are your bunny/s teeth.
Step 9: Draw the letter “U” behind your teeth. This is your bunny’s tongue.
Step 10: Draw your bunny’s whiskers.
Step 11: Draw 2 large ovals–one on top of each side of your bunny’s head. These are your bunny’s ears. Draw smaller ovals inside the larger oval. These are your bunny’s inner ears.
Step 12: Draw 2 ovals–one beneath side of your bunny’s body. These are your bunny’s ballet slippers. Draw smaller ovals inside the larger oval. These are your bunny’s feet.
Step 13: Draw 2 ovals–one on each side of your bunny’s body. These are your bunny’s arms. Draw a fluffy cloud shape. This is your bunny’s tail.
Step 14: Draw a thin rectangle. This is your bunny’s belt.
Step 15: Draw 2 triangles on top of your bunny’s belt. Let the tips of your triangles touch each other in the middle.
Step 16: Draw a circle on top of the triangles–at the spot where they touch each other in the middle.
Step 17: Erase the guideline.
Step 18: Color your picture.
Or if you want, draw a tutu first and then color your picture.
Or if you want, draw your arm a little differently, then draw a carrot, and then color your picture.
