I remember when I discovered the craft of sewing fabric yo yos. That was at lease 50 years ago–when sewing yo yos was a bit tricky. But more recently, the Clover Company has made the process simpler with its quick and easy yo yo makers:
Shortly after Easter, I plan to open my textile arts program, Cottage Stitchery, at Jacki Kellum Studios in Water Valley, Mississippi, and I plan to celebrate the occasion with a Free Yo Yo Maker Workshop. I’ll provide the Clover Yo Yo forms, and particiapants can bring their own cotton fabrics — or buy some inexpensive cuts from me.
Over the years, I have seen some clever things made with fabric yo yos.
