Determinate Tomatoes have a constrictive growth habit. They grow more as a bush as opposed to growing into a long  tall vine.

Bush Goliath is a Determinate Tomato. It grows as a bush and not as a vine.

Whereas some of my indeterminate tomatmore that 10′, oes will tower to more that 10′, the Bush Goliath will be more constrained. It will grow to be about 4′ tall. However, Goliath is a heavy, thick bush, and I still recomend growing it on a strong tomato cage.
