A few days ago, my much younger adult student marched into my class with a drawing tool I had never seen before – a Pentel Brush Pen. I was fascinated by the way he quickly sketched his vase of flowers, and I loved the physical, almost guttural results. I realized I had missed a new chapter in making lines.
