Another Shout-Out for Stream of Consciousness – I Also Create My Youtube Videos in a Stream of Consciousness

Some of you may not know this, but for a couple of months, I have gone out into my garden several times a week, and I have talked about what is or is not growing there. Quite often, my videos pivot into something that is rather philosophical, and I label those thoughts as “Learning from My Garden.”

You might find it interesting that I never create a script for my videos. I create my videos in the same way that I write–via a process I call a “Stream of Concsiousness.”

What Is Writing In A Stream of Consciousness?

Writing is a Stream of Consciousness is a Natural, Intuitive Process Designed to Capture Unadulterated Thought.

  1. Writing in a Stream of Consciousness is a Type of Free Writing.
  2. Writing in a Stream of Consciousness is a Type of Quick, Flash Writing.
  3. After you Begin Writing in a Stream of Consciousness, You Do Not Stop to Check Your Grammar, Your Punctuation, Your Spelling, or Anything Else. You Just Start Writing and See Where Your Words Take You. You Simply Plow Through to the End.
  4. When You Remove all your Editing and Other Stumbling Blocks, Your Mind Will Expand & Thoughts that you never knew you had will come to your mind via your Intuition.

I Often Talk about Writing in a Stream of Consciousness.

Writing via a Stream of Consciousness Is How I Access my Intuition.

I Wrote The Donkey’s Song in a Stream of Consciousness

My Intuition Actually Wrote My Debut Picture Book, The Donkey’s Song, I Just Typed

Earlier today, I created a video that offers insight into how my stream of consciousness works. As I said before, I never prepare a script for my videos. When I went outside to create the following video, I had some idea what my topic would be. If you pay attention to my words and my struggle for the correct words, you will be able to  detect how my intuition was changing the direction of my preliminary idea–AS I spoke. Again, I went outside thinking I would write about the withering plants of autumn, and I ended up writing about my need to strive toward the light:

After my intuition drove me down a different path, I finally got around to talking about the withering plants of my autumn garden, but something would not allow me to talk about that until I talked about my determination to strive for the light.

If I had scripted the following, it would have been two different videos, and if this were a piece of writing, you would not see my struggle to acquiesce to my intuition. Because there is hesitancy in my voice, I almost did not post the following video to Youtube. Buy yhe following is a great example of how the stream of consciousness works:
