I have said this before, but the first day of Advent falls on several calendar days. The first day of Advent is the fourth Sunday before Christmas, and the last day of Advent is Christmas Eve, December 25th is the First Day of Christmas — Always, and January 1 is always the 8th Day of Christmas.
January 1 is a busy day for me. For many years, I have submitted a new list of Resolutions and Goals on January 1. I never still with my resolutions, but invariably, I begin each new year with a clean skate and a desire to Reach for the Stars!
If you know anything about me, you know that I am aware of the Power of Light and that I am committed to seeking the Light. During Advent, I mentioned several times that Advent is The Season of Light. On December 25, Christians celebrate The Light of the World.
December 25 is Christmas Day, and it is also the First Day of Christmas.
January 1 is New Year’s Day, and it is the Eighth Day of Christmas.
Like on Christmas Day, I celebrate New Year’s Day in more than one way. I celebrate it as the 8th Day of Christmas and the First Day of a New Year — The First Day of a Life with New Possibilities:
