How to Make an Easy Skin Cream with Essential Oils — No Waxy Mess — No Double Boiler — Just Measure & Stir

For days, I have been sharing how essential oils have actually worked in my life.

When most people think of healing with essential oils, their minds probably dart to diffusers, therapeutic mists, and other elements of aromatherapy. With aromatherapy, the healing agents are inhaled and are quickly absorbed. But healing essential oils can also be transmitted through the skin.

I rub essential oil on myself throughout the day, and I have discovered an unorthodox way to make a skin cream that is quick, easy, and at least equally successful as the traditional herbal salves.

I buy a product named Triple Paste from Amazon. Triple Paste is sold to treat Diaper Rash, and it contains Beeswax.

  • Gentle yet effective formula: The Triple Paste formula leverages the healing properties of 12.8% non-nano zinc oxide and combines them with nourishing oat extract and protective beeswax and more to immediately soothe and treat irritated skin

In my opinion, melting beeswax and dealing with wax-coated pans and other utensils is a nightmare. Triple Paste removes the need to deal with the Beeswax. It comes with the paste.

Zinc Oxide is also in Triple Paste. My memories of Zinc Oxide are those of my white nose while I was lifeguarding, but I have learned that it is also a healing agent.

Zinc oxide has many healing properties, including:

  • Wound healing: Zinc oxide can help wounds heal faster and prevent infections. It can also help reduce the rate of ulcer deterioration.
  • Skin regeneration: Zinc oxide can help regenerate skin and treat minor skin ailments like cuts, burns, and dandruff.
  • Skin protection: Zinc oxide can protect the skin from moisture and reduce inflammation.
  • Antimicrobial properties: Zinc oxide can help prevent bacterial infections.
  • Sun protection: Zinc oxide can block sun damage from UV light by scattering away ultraviolet rays.
  • Itching relief: Zinc oxide can help reduce itching, which can be a significant problem for people with eczema.
  • Immune modulation: Zinc can modulate both innate and adaptive immune functions.

Zinc Oxide is a healer and it can be used as a carrier oil for essential oils.

“Zinc oxide can be used as a carrier oil for essential oils. When combined with essential oils, zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) can produce a stronger antimicrobial effect. The volatile compounds in the essential oils can stick to the surface of the nanoparticles, which can help the antimicrobial effect last longer.” Google ai

Zinc Oxide increases the healing capacity of essential oils.

“Peppermint essential oil can be mixed with zinc oxide and the combination can have antibacterial properties:

  • Cooling bilayer patches

A combination of peppermint essential oil (PEO) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) can be used to make cooling bilayer patches with antibacterial properties. The patch has a front layer made of sodium alginate (SA) containing PEO and ZnO NPs, and a back layer made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)

    Antimicrobial effect

The combination of ZnO NPs and essential oils can produce a stronger antimicrobial effect. Some of the volatile compounds can remain on the nanoparticles’ surface, which can make the antimicrobial effect last longer.
