This is Day 4 of My Commitment to Paint Every Day for at least 100 days.  Although I painted in oil years ago, I have been painting in watercolor for the past several years. To help get myself into a more painterly mode of painting, I have stumbled into a new warmup routine that I’ll do at the beginning of every painting day. Before I begin painting whatever I have decided to paint that day, I’ll do an ultra-quick study of the subject. I painted Sunflowers and Roses in 25 Strokes, but I finished my other 2 quick studies in 20 strokes.
