The Bibles & Books of Bible Stories in Jacki Kellum’s Library
The Jesus Storybook Bible is the best book of Bible stories for families with children who are celebrating Advent.
Although this book is not in a scriptural format, the stories follow the Bibles of the book in order, beginning with Genesis.
The first story relates to Genesis, In the Beginning.
In the family-friendly text, the stories provide an adequate amount of information to provide a history of the major Bible stories–in order.
Although the illustrations are child-friendly, they are not babyish.
I’ll say this over and over. I’m all for baby Bibles for babies, but if you are celebrating Advent as a family that includes older kids, don’t make the mistake of only providing stories and activities for babies. Provide stories and activities appropriate for every child and/or teen in your family.
The Jesus Storybook Bible is appropriate for most ages.
You can watch the videos on YouTube. Plus, you can directly order an Advent guide from the Sally Lloyd-Jones website:

That being said, but if there are babies in the house, I recommend the following book:
Baby’s First Bible by Sally Ann Wright is perfect for babies and toddlers.
Baby’s First Bible is a large board book.
There are only a few stories in Baby’s First Bible, and the stories are short.
And the illustrations are sweet.

My First Bible is a large board book. It is a larger and taller book than Baby’s First Bible, and there are more words in each story. In addition to that, the book includes more stories.
