Believe it or not, this wonderfully deep, dark, blue violet hydrangea can be equally pink. It all depends upon your soil.

I bought my plants because I love their intense blue tones, and if my girl becomes too pink, I’ll simply add Aluminum Sulfate to the soil around the plant.

I live in Mississippi, and it is unlikely that I’ll need the plant’s cold hardiness, but I definitely like the tint of the blue in this particular species of hydrangeas.

Rhythmic Blue Hydrangeas are not the light sky blue that my grandmother’s hydrangeas were. They are a Deep Cornflower Blue, which has a touch of lavender mixed in the pot.
I grow masses of bachelor buttons because they have the same coloring as the rhymic blue hydrangeas.
