How to Boil Water on an Omeo 1800 Watt Portable Induction Cooktop

When I moved into my current home, it had a new but mediocre kitchen stove. In less than two years, the burners lost their capacity to boil water. The oven worked fine, and rather than replace the entire unit, I began a search for a hotplate or a portable cooktop to become my designated potboiler. I’m glad I did some research. I quickly learned that not all portable cooktops can boil water.

I discovered an Omeo Induction Cooktop with 1800 watts, and it is the perfect solution for my kitchen. Notice that this little gem has several other bells and whistles.

The area within the circle is the only part of the Omeo cooktop that gets hot. If you do not have the correct pot on the surface it will not heat. You see an Error Code–E0.
