“Introduced in 1937, Ballerina is a very profusely blooming rose of restrained habit. Expect hundreds of small, 2”, pink, single blooms with a white eye borne in huge clusters to drench this bush in blossoms. She is a pollinator favorite, produces beautiful hips, grows well in pots or beds, emits a sweet honey fragrance, and makes an excellent cut flower. Truly an overachiever!” Heirloom Roses
Years ago, I grew both The Fairy Rose and Ballerina. These two rose varieties remind me of each other. I have The Fairy growing in my front yard, and in 2024, I added Ballerina to my back garden, Ballerina has a single blossom, and The Fairy has a double, but both are small bushes and are prolific bloomers.
